What We Do
Helping Hands Chaplaincy is a non-profit (501c3) that is changing the way we process grief by working with the objects that surround us during home transitions. Whether you are cleaning out the closet of a deceased loved one, going through an entire household that has been left in your care, or downsizing to move into a retirement community or assisted living facility, grief can feel like your only companion when your home is in transition. We offer spiritual companionship as well as practical hands-on assistance to help you move forward. We understand the emotional value of the items you are working with and provide support and guidance through the process of preserving, donating, or releasing your or your loved one's belongings. We offer a way to honor individuals and their lives through the compassionate care of their items and spaces.

We aren't your normal grief counselors or home organizers. What makes us different?
